Duty Manager and Bottleshop Attendant Positions
The Modbury Hotel, a recently renovated, high-volume hospitality venue in Adelaide's Northeast, is seeking motivated, professional individuals to join its team. The venue encompasses bistro dining, a sports bar, gaming, and functions, with a commitment to consistent, high-quality service and exceptional operational standards.

- Duty Manager (Casual & Full-Time Salary Opportunities Available)
- Bottleshop Attendant (Casual)
About the Roles:
Duty Manager:
- Oversee daily operations across multiple departments.
- Lead, supervise, and support staff to maintain high service standards.
- Ensure compliance with RSA, gaming regulations, and venue procedures.
- Manage customer experience, including service recovery.
- Monitor wage costs and operational efficiency.
Bottleshop Attendant:
- Deliver outstanding customer service.
- Maintain an efficient and well-presented retail environment.
- Provide friendly and knowledgeable customer service.
- Assist customers with beer, wine, and spirits selections.
- Operate the point-of-sale system and process transactions accurately.
- Restock shelves and maintain attractive product displays.
- Ensure the bottleshop remains clean, organised, and well presented.
- Check identification and ensure compliance with RSA legislation.
- Assist with stock deliveries and general store operations.
Requirements:
Duty Manager:
- Current RSA Certificate.
- Current Approved Gaming Badge.
- Current Responsible Person Badge.
- Previous supervisory or management experience in hospitality.
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Bottleshop Attendant:
- Current RSA Certificate.
- Availability to work a flexible casual roster Monday through Sunday, including both day and night shifts.
- Previous retail or hospitality experience is desirable but not essential.
- Wine and spirits knowledge will be highly regarded.

- Previous experience in a similar role is highly regarded.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to thrive in a team environment.
- High attention to detail and commitment to standards.
- Availability to work a rotating roster, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
