We are seeking an experienced bartender who is as passionate about engaging with people as they are about crafting excellent drinks. This is a dynamic role that extends beyond the bar, requiring the ability to confidently transition between bar and floor duties, deliver outstanding service, and become an integral part of our close-knit team.

About the Role

This is a practical hospitality position with varied daily responsibilities. You will be responsible for preparing sophisticated cocktails, suggesting wines, managing guest experiences from beginning to end, and readily assisting the team wherever needed. We are looking for an individual who thrives in a busy environment, takes pride in their work, and understands that exceptional hospitality stems from crafting memorable guest experiences.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Crafting classic and signature cocktails to a consistent high standard.
• Delivering warm, genuine, and attentive service.
• Assisting with food and drink service as required.
• Taking guest orders and confidently recommending food and wine selections.
• Maintaining an organised, well-stocked, and immaculate bar area.
• Undertaking opening and closing procedures for the venue as needed.
• Collaborating closely with our kitchen and front of house teams.
• Contributing to the creation of an energetic and positive atmosphere during each service.

About You

You will ideally possess:

• A minimum of 2 years' experience in a quality restaurant, wine bar, or cocktail venue.
• Strong knowledge of cocktails and wines.
• A current Victorian Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certificate.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• The capacity to remain calm under pressure and manage multiple tasks.
• A positive outlook and a willingness to assist wherever necessary.
• A commitment to delivering exceptional customer experiences.
• Availability to work evenings and weekends.
