Food and Beverage Attendant
Guildford Grammar School is seeking to establish a casual pool of Food and Beverage Attendants to support its Catering team during busy service periods, school functions, and events. This is a flexible, onsite opportunity for individuals who enjoy working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Shifts will be offered on an as-needed basis, encompassing term-time service, functions, and special events throughout the School year.
As a Food and Beverage Attendant, you will play an important role in delivering high-quality meals and contributing to a positive and welcoming experience for students, staff, and guests. Your duties will include supporting food preparation, service delivery, and the smooth day-to-day operation of the kitchen.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with serving food and interacting with students, parents, and staff in a friendly, helpful, and professional manner.
- Contribute to the preparation and service of high-quality meals.
- Undertake basic food preparation for student meals and for school functions.
- Ensure all food preparation tasks are carried out in a timely fashion, to a high standard and within food hygiene guidelines.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations, ensuring strict compliance with food hygiene practices to ensure the safety of meals.
- Ensure all kitchen areas, utensils, and equipment are kept clean and well organised throughout the day.
About You:
- Previous experience in the food service industry.
- Understanding of food safety regulations.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and in a busy environment.
- Reliable, flexible, and willing to support varying operational needs.
- Commitment to maintaining a positive and service-oriented approach.
You will also be required to hold:
- Current Working with Children Check.
- Current police clearance (dated within the last 6 months).
- Proof of Right to Work in Australia.
- Respect for the values, traditions, and Anglican ethos of the School.
