Goulburn Valley Health is seeking a Food Services Assistant to join its Food Services team at the Graham Street location in Shepparton. This role is integral to supporting the health and wellbeing of patients, staff, and visitors.
About the Role:
Reporting to the Food Services Coordinator, the Food Services Assistant will contribute to the preparation, production, and delivery of high-quality meals, snacks, and beverages. This includes catering to diverse nutritional, dietary, and cultural needs. The position involves working within a team to ensure safe, efficient, and high-standard food service delivery with excellent customer care.
Key responsibilities include:
- Food preparation
- Meal assembly
- Distribution of meals
- Kitchen cleaning
- Maintaining a safe and hygienic work environment in line with food safety legislation, infection control requirements, and workplace health and safety standards.
Fixed Term roles will cease between December 2026 and May 2027.
