Albury Wodonga Health is seeking a Food Services Assistant to join the Support Services Team. This role is integral to the preparation and distribution of food services for patients, staff, and other identified clients. Responsibilities include cleaning and servicing designated areas, waste disposal, and adherence to the AWH Food Safety Plan, policies, procedures, and Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) principles.
Role Requirements:
- Availability to work weekdays, weekends, and public holidays.
- Ability to work shifts between 06:00 and 21:00, covering both mornings and evenings.
- Compliance with the AWH Food Safety Plan.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plating meals and meal components, including the assembly of patient meal trays.
- Delivery and collection of meal trolleys and mid-meals to wards and outlying areas, as well as delivery of food items throughout the hospital.
- Delivery and restocking of pantry items to ward and department areas.
- Cleaning and restocking of the tray line.
- Washing of tableware and serving dishes, and the disposal of refuse.
Employment Type: Temporary Full Time Position.
