Front Office Manager – Live On Site

Vision Hotels is seeking a Front Office Manager to join our team at our new property in Cairns. As our group experiences significant growth and innovation, this presents a unique chance to join us in Cairns, with potential for relocation across Australia and the Pacific.

Remuneration: A package of $100,000 is offered, comprising a $70,000 annual salary, $25,000 towards free on-site accommodation, and monthly KPI-based bonuses valued at $5,000.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily operations across hotel departments including Front Office, Housekeeping, and Maintenance, providing leadership, guidance, and communication.
  • Manage the hotel's operational performance, aiming to meet and exceed budgetary requirements.
  • Foster and maintain strong working relationships with Directors and stakeholders, ensuring open communication.
  • Manage employee performance, coordinate recruitment, induction, training, and development, and provide regular feedback to management.
  • Address and resolve guest complaints promptly and effectively to ensure optimal guest satisfaction.
  • Regularly monitor and report on the hotel's financial performance against the operational budget to achieve annual targets.
  • Ensure the hotel adheres to all company guidelines, federal, state, and local laws, including WH&S, licensing, fire regulations, and essential services.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Must possess experience in a managerial position within a similar role or industry.
  • Experience using RMS will be highly regarded.
  • Must be able to live on-site and understand the commitment involved in being an on-site manager.
  • Open to relocation within Australia and the Pacific Islands.
  • Proficient in building rapport with people easily.
  • Passionate and motivated to succeed.
