A new leadership opportunity exists for the recently acquired Regent Hotel in Kingsford. This community-focused hotel serves a diverse clientele from the eastern suburbs, with direct transport links to the City and Moore Park. We are seeking a visionary General Manager to guide its upcoming phase.

As part of the Thomas Hotels group, you will be responsible for a flagship venue offering a premium sports hub, curated food and beverage experiences, versatile function spaces, and a vibrant bistro. This role provides the chance to direct the future of a traditional, all-round operation.

About the Venue: The Regent Hotel is a highly versatile venue in Kingsford, situated moments from the light rail station, UNSW, and the hospital. This modern hospitality space is housed within a striking heritage building. Your oversight will include:

• An expansive beer garden
• A main bar with a loyal customer base
• A thriving bistro with contemporary appeal
• Function and event spaces suitable for various occasions
• TAB, bottleshop, and a robust gaming floor

The Role: You will be responsible for curating the customer experience across all areas, leading a high-performing team, and implementing initiatives that resonate with the local community. Your ownership will extend to:

• Weekly entertainment and 'what's on' programming
• Food and beverage direction, with support from the Executive Chef and beverage partners
• Local sponsorships and community engagement
• Functions, sport viewing experiences, and late-trade strategy
• Team development and culture building

We Are Looking For Someone Who:

• Possesses at least 3 years of experience in senior pub or hotel management.
• Thrives in multi-format environments with multiple revenue streams.
• Leads with energy, creativity, and a customer-first approach.
• Has a thorough understanding of gaming, F&B, and high-volume trade.
• Is proactive regarding compliance, licensing, and team wellbeing.
• Enjoys being present on the floor, building relationships, and mentoring staff.
