We are seeking a Group Food & Beverage Manager to oversee front-of-house food and beverage operations at Sharks Leagues Club and Sharks at Kareela. About the Role
Reporting to the General Manager – Leagues Clubs, this position entails overall leadership of front-of-house food and beverage operations for the Group. This is a hands-on leadership role with an emphasis on:
- Leading and developing front-of-house teams.
- Beverage strategy, supplier relations, and product development.
- Bar operations and service standards.
- Functions and events execution.
- Operational planning and continuous improvement.
- Commercial performance, labour, and stock management.
- Collaborating with contract catering partners to ensure a smooth customer experience.
You will be instrumental in ensuring exceptional service for all members and guests while achieving strong commercial results.
About You
We are looking for an experienced hospitality leader who thrives on developing people, refining operations, and crafting memorable customer experiences. You will possess:
- Demonstrated leadership experience in clubs, hotels, restaurants, stadiums, or large hospitality settings.
- Solid knowledge of beverages, including wine, beer, cocktails, spirits, and current industry trends.
- Experience managing high-volume food and beverage operations.
- Strong commercial understanding, including labour management, beverage costing, and stock control.
- Experience in delivering functions and events.
- Familiarity with POS and digital ordering platforms.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Current RSA and RCG qualifications.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, public holidays, and major event days.
Experience with new venue openings or leading major refurbishments will be highly regarded.
