Lead the kitchen operations at the Barker Hotel as Head Chef. This role offers a competitive starting salary, with an additional 12% superannuation, an annual salary review, and one meal provided per shift.

The Position This is a significant opportunity to assume the Head Chef role at the Barker Hotel in Mount Barker. You will be responsible for working with, leading, and developing our existing team of chefs and apprentices. Key duties include:

• Menu creation for the Hotel, functions, and events.
• Ordering stock, with flexibility to use nominated suppliers.
• Providing hands-on meal service to customers.
• Ensuring the overall success of food service operations.

We are seeking individuals who have completed an Australian Apprenticeship, possess strong leadership capabilities, and have a sound understanding of cooking elements, techniques, purchasing, menu coordination, menu construction, preparation, food safety, and management.
