About the Role: The Head Chef will oversee the daily operations of the venue, cultivate a strong team environment, and ensure each service meets the expected standards for food, coffee, service, and hospitality. This is a practical leadership position for an individual who enjoys floor presence, team coaching, and creating a welcoming, consistent guest experience.
Your Responsibilities will include:
- Team leadership, development, and culture building.
- Service execution and consistency.
- Management of food costs and supplier orders.
- Rostering and kitchen administration.
- Maintenance of premium food standards.
- Collaboration with ownership and management on future expansion.
- Ensuring consistency, presentation, and quality across all dishes.
What We Are Looking For:
- Demonstrated experience as a Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef within a cafe or restaurant setting.
- Proficient leadership and communication abilities.
- Experience in delivering high-volume, quality service.
- Capacity to maintain composure and professionalism under pressure.
- A solid understanding of food costs and kitchen systems.
