About the role: Our ISS Health Team is expanding and seeking a Healthcare Chef for a permanent, full-time, on-site position at Modbury Hospital in Modbury, Adelaide SA. This role requires working every weekend and all public holidays.
The total salary package, inclusive of superannuation, is $90,000.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare meals to the highest standards, ensuring food safety and quality.
- Produce meals according to recipes and dietary plans.
- Handle and store food in compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
- Engage positively with our client to provide excellent customer service.
- Contribute to the health and safety culture by adhering to WHS standards.

About you:
- Australian Trade Certification or Cert III in Commercial Cookery is essential.
- Allrounder experience across pastries, crib meals, mains, breakfast, and grab-and-go options.
- A positive attitude and a drive to deliver strong customer service.
- Experience in high-volume catering, including bulk catering and function/banquet settings.
- Ability to pass a full pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol testing.
- Flexibility to work a rotational roster, including early mornings, night shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
- Ability or willingness to provide evidence of immunisation for Hepatitis B, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Tetanus, Pertussis, Diptheria, and Polio, as per SA Health worker requirements, is essential.
- A current Police Clearance, or the ability to obtain one, is essential.
- A current DHS Working with Children Check (WWCC), or the ability to obtain one, is essential.
