Hospitality Multi Skilled

Southern Cross Care WA is seeking a casual Hospitality Multi Skilled individual to join our team at Frank Prendergast House in Success, WA. This onsite role focuses on supporting the day-to-day operations of our facility, which accommodates up to 73 residents and features wide corridors, multiple lounge areas, and enclosed walkways.

You will be part of a team playing a vital role in our facility's functioning, with a primary focus on cleaning duties across morning, afternoon, and evening shifts.

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Thorough cleaning of resident rooms, bathrooms, communal areas, and facility spaces.
  • Performing routine and deep cleaning tasks in accordance with infection control and hygiene standards.
  • Safely using and maintaining cleaning equipment, chemicals, and supplies.
  • Ensuring regular sanitisation of all surfaces, floors, and high-touch areas.
  • Managing waste disposal, including sorting, removal, and replacement of bins.
  • Monitoring stock levels of cleaning products and reporting when replenishment is needed.
  • Maintaining cleanliness, organisation, and safety within all cleaning storage areas.
  • Supporting laundry operations by collecting, sorting, washing, drying, and folding items as required.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in laundry, cleaning, or hospitality.
  • Aged care experience is highly regarded.
  • An understanding of infection control and safe work practices.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good communication skills.
  • A positive, can-do attitude.
  • Reliability, punctuality, and strong attention to detail.
