Hotel General Manager – Farmers Home Hotel, Northam
The Farmers’ Home Hotel, a prominent hospitality venue in Northam, comprises 16 boutique accommodation rooms, a busy Dôme Café, and the popular Temperance Wine Bar. We are seeking an experienced hospitality leader to assume the role of Hotel General Manager. This presents a unique opportunity to oversee a diverse hospitality business, supported by the established systems, assistance, and stability of a leading Western Australian hospitality group.
About the Role
Reporting to the group Executive Team, the Hotel General Manager will be accountable for the comprehensive performance of the hotel, café, wine bar, and housekeeping operations.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading, mentoring, and developing the hospitality team.
- Ensuring exceptional guest experiences across all operational areas.
- Managing financial aspects, including budgets, labour, inventory, and profitability.
- Overseeing recruitment, onboarding, and performance management of staff.
- Developing rosters and workforce plans.
- Maintaining high standards for housekeeping and accommodation.
- Upholding operational excellence and brand standards.
- Cultivating strong relationships within the local community.
- Ensuring compliance with workplace, food safety, and liquor licensing regulations.
About You

- Prior experience managing a hotel, resort, motel, or multi-outlet hospitality venue.
