THE MONDAY GROUP is seeking a full-time, on-site Hotel General Manager for a new luxury lodge and spa located in Sydney, NSW.

A new landmark luxury lodge and spa is preparing for its debut in the scenic bushland between the Hawkesbury and the Central Coast. This intimate retreat features twenty private villas, a luxury day spa, a destination restaurant, a cocktail bar, and premium event spaces, all designed to establish a new standard for regional luxury hospitality. This presents a unique chance to oversee a property from its inception.

The Opportunity

• Lead all operational facets and serve as the property's public representative.
• Manage the pre-opening phase, encompassing recruitment, training, systems implementation, and ensuring operational readiness.
• Establish and cultivate a genuine five-star service culture across all guest interactions.
• Develop robust relationships with guests, travel partners, corporate clients, and the local community.
• Drive occupancy, revenue, and guest satisfaction through effective leadership and commercial insight.
• Collaborate closely with an experienced Food & Beverage Director and central support teams within the broader precinct.

About You

• A sophisticated hospitality leader with a passion for crafting memorable guest experiences.
• Previous experience as a General Manager or in senior operational leadership within luxury or boutique hotels, lodges, or resorts is required.
• Possesses a natural aptitude for relationship building and confidently representing a premium brand.
• Demonstrates strong commercial acumen in revenue, sales, and business development.
• Holds a thorough understanding of luxury service standards and guest expectations.
• Pre-opening experience will be highly regarded.
• Exhibits calm, hands-on leadership and the ability to inspire high-performing teams.
