Hotel Services Multi Skilled - South Relief Pool

Brightwater is seeking an experienced Hotel Services team member for its Staff Relief Pool. This role involves covering planned leave across residential facilities in Mandurah and Waikiki on a permanent part-time basis.

To be considered, applicants must have previous experience in a similar role, which must include kitchen duties in a commercial kitchen. Experience working in aged care will be viewed favourably. Successful candidates may also be considered for future similar vacancies at Brightwater.

Eligibility Requirements:

• Willingness to work at both the Mandurah and Waikiki facilities.
• Availability for a minimum of three weekdays (Monday to Friday) each week.
• Availability for both shift types daily:
• AM: various shifts between 6 am and 4 pm
• PM: various shifts between 3 pm and 7 pm

Responsibilities:

• Maintain a clean, sanitary, and homely environment.
• Provide a quality meal experience for clients, aligning with aged care standards.
• Order and maintain cleaning and kitchen stock.
• Provide an efficient laundry service.
• Comply with FoodSafe and other health codes and regulations.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a similar role, which must include commercial kitchen duties, preferably in aged care or a similar setting.
• Knowledge of cooking and food preparation, including an understanding of safe meal preparation and serving presentation.
• Demonstrated understanding of food safety, including appropriate food temperatures and food temperature danger zones.
• Knowledge of International Dysphagia Diet Standardisation Initiative (IDDSI) levels.
• Knowledge and experience in cleaning and/or laundry services.
• A caring and positive attitude.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate with people from diverse backgrounds and experiences.
• Demonstrated ability to prioritise workload, work effectively under pressure, problem-solve, and use resources effectively, safely, and efficiently.
• A satisfactory National Police Clearance that is less than one year old.
• A satisfactory NDIS Worker Screening Check.
