Adabco Boutique Hotel is seeking a dedicated Casual Housekeeper to become part of our experienced team. This role offers an opportunity for a positive, detail-oriented individual who takes pride in their work. We will provide excellent tools, procedures, and teamwork to help you achieve high standards in presenting our property, public areas, and accommodation rooms beautifully, ensuring outstanding first impressions.

Housekeepers are vital to delivering exceptional guest experiences within this unique ACCOR property, which features 69 rooms, a boardroom, laundry, guest lounge, and shared kitchens spread across two levels.

The Role and Your Responsibilities

Reporting to the Housekeeping Supervisor, you will uphold our high standards of service and presentation for rooms and public areas with a friendly approach. Your duties will include cleaning departure rooms, servicing occupied rooms, completing linen changes, performing laundry tasks, tidying storage areas, maintaining well-stocked trolleys, and executing safe workplace procedures. The privacy and security of our guests are of paramount importance, and we are looking for an experienced professional to care for our customers and property.

Key Duties Include:

• Procedure Execution: As an ACCOR property, adherence to brand standards is essential. This involves servicing and cleaning all allocated guest rooms, public areas, and storerooms within designated timeframes to meet budget targets and ensure clean, inspected rooms are ready for guest arrivals. Please be aware this is a physically demanding role. You will be active throughout your shift, undertaking tasks that require bending, lifting, and the stamina to service multiple rooms/areas to the high standard expected by management and guests.
• Supply Management: Ensuring your housekeeping trolley is fully stocked, organised, and presentable throughout your shift. This includes following procedures, working safely with chemicals, and correctly reporting maintenance issues and lost property.
• Guest Assistance: Politely assisting guests with all enquiries, providing accurate information about property facilities, and promptly addressing any minor issues.
• Security & Privacy: Strictly complying with all hotel guest privacy and security protocols.

Availability

This is a casual position requiring 3-4 shifts across a 7-day roster. Availability for weekdays, weekends, and public holidays is desirable.
