Delaware North Australia is seeking a dedicated Kitchen Attendant to join the culinary team at the Blacktown Exercise and Technology Hub (BEST). This role is crucial for maintaining kitchen cleanliness, order, and efficiency, supporting smooth operations. The position requires basic cooking skills and a strong understanding of kitchen safety practices. Responsibilities:

• Prepare food for a commercial kitchen, ensuring presentation standards are met.
• Maintain high hygiene standards and cleanliness within the kitchen area.
• Adhere to Work Health and Safety (WHS) guidelines, manage Food Safety protocols, and conduct temperature and quality checks.
• Support kitchen staff in maintaining an organised and efficient workspace.
• Undertake cleaning duties, including sweeping, mopping, dishwashing, and waste management.

About You:

• Previous experience as a Kitchen Attendant is preferred.
• Possession of a Food Safety Certificate or a willingness to obtain one during onboarding.
• Strong communication skills.
• Enthusiasm for working in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexibility with shifts, including availability for mornings, days, nights, and weekends.
