Kitchen Hand Aurum Catering Mundaring
Aurum Catering is seeking a casual Kitchen Hand to join our team in Mundaring. This onsite position offers a salary of up to $26.70 per hour, plus loading, superannuation, and NFP salary packaging for eligible employees.

Your New Role The Kitchen Hand role is focused on providing friendly, attentive, and efficient service and products to our customers. You will assist in delivering high-quality products while adhering to Aurum's policies and procedures.
Roster The successful applicant will be available to work a mix of morning and afternoon shifts between 6 am and 7 pm, with weekend availability.
Duties
- Deliver consistent, high-quality customer service to internal and external customers, meeting prescribed service standards.
- Prepare food and beverage products in accordance with standard operating procedures/duty statements.
- Complete cleaning tasks as prescribed by standard operating procedures/duty statements or as directed by the Chef on duty.
- Advise the Chef on duty of any catering-related issues and needs when required.
- Undertake any operational cleaning requirements as needed or directed by the Chef on duty.
- Attend team meetings as required.
Skills and Experience
- Ability to align with our Values.
- Capacity to work both autonomously and as part of a high-performing team.
- A passion for delivering excellent service and a keen eye for detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- A good understanding of HACCP/food safety programs.
- Cert III in Cookery or Hospitality is desirable but not essential.
- Capacity to lift up to 20kg.
- Willingness to undergo a pre-employment medical.
- Ability to pass a National Police Check.
- Previous experience in customer service, hospitality, or a commercial kitchen is highly desirable but not essential.
