The Kiosk Torquay is seeking an enthusiastic and reliable Kitchen Hand/Jaffle Cook to join our team. This position is based at our vibrant beachside location, where you will serve customers and contribute to the smooth operation of our popular coffee kiosk. Experience in the hospitality industry and a passion for food are desirable.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve a variety of food and beverages.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organisation within the kiosk.
• Contribute a positive attitude and foster a friendly, welcoming atmosphere for colleagues and customers.
• Undertake stock ordering and rotation.
• Prepare jaffles and jaffle fillings, ensuring high-quality standards.
• Assist in the overall efficient running of the kiosk.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a kitchen or back-of-house hospitality role is essential.
• Willingness to start early (from 5:30 am) and finish early (no later than 2:30 pm).
• Ability to perform well in a fast-paced takeaway environment.
• Reliability and willingness to work.
• Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Capacity to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
• Good time management and organisational skills.
• Enthusiasm and a positive, friendly attitude.
• Flexibility to work a range of shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
