About You You are reliable, diligent, and enjoy functioning as part of a team.
You will possess:
- Previous experience in a commercial kitchen, hospitality, or food service setting (preferred but not essential).
- A positive outlook and a readiness to acquire new skills.
- Effective communication and teamwork capabilities.
- The capacity to work efficiently in a busy environment.
- A dedication to food safety, hygiene, and workplace health and safety standards.
- Flexibility to work weekdays, weekends, and public holidays as needed.
Your Responsibilities
- Assist with meal preparation and food service.
- Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment.
- Maintain the cleanliness of kitchen, food preparation, and storage areas.
- Receive and store deliveries.
- Adhere to food safety, infection prevention, and workplace health and safety procedures.
- Support chefs and cooks with general kitchen tasks.
- Contribute to ensuring residents receive high-quality meals and excellent service.

Requirements Successful applicants will be required to possess or obtain:
- A current National Police Check.
- A current Influenza Vaccination and the ability to meet aged care vaccination mandates.
- Evidence of the right to work in Australia.
- Satisfactory referee checks.
