Delaware North Australia is seeking an experienced Kitchenhand to join our team at Perth Airport on a casual basis. This role will involve ensuring cleanliness, order, and efficiency within the kitchen, contributing to a first-class dining experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain consistent cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen area.
• Conduct temperature and quality checks, managing cross-contamination to ensure WHS compliance and demonstrating a strong commitment to Food Safety standards.
• Support kitchen team members in establishing and maintaining an organised and efficient workspace.
• Undertake cleaning duties, including sweeping and mopping floors, washing dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment.
• Manage waste disposal.
• Operate a commercial dishwasher.
• Handle cleaning chemicals.
• Execute food preparation tasks within a commercial kitchen environment, showcasing excellent food presentation skills.

Candidate Profile:

• Previous experience as a kitchenhand is required.
• A Food Safety Certificate is required.
• Demonstrated passion and enthusiasm for working in a fast-paced environment.
• Most shifts will operate between 8am and 6pm, with occasional requirements for a 5am start.
