The Kingsway Motel Geelong is looking for an experienced, hands-on Management Team of Two to manage the daily operations of its established property. Located near Geelong's CBD, waterfront, hospitals, sporting facilities, and the route to the Great Ocean Road, the motel serves a variety of corporate, leisure, family, and touring guests.

About the Property The Kingsway Motel is recognised for providing friendly, professional service and quality accommodation in a stable and supported operational setting. With no food and beverage operations, swimming pool, or extensive laundry duties, the management team can concentrate on guest experience, property presentation, and efficient daily operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily motel operations and guest services.
• Deliver a high standard of guest experience and property presentation.
• Oversee housekeeping, stock control, and basic property maintenance.
• Handle reservations, Online Travel Agent (OTA) platforms, and administrative tasks.
• Monitor room rates and occupancy in consultation with owners.
• Assist with staff supervision, training, and operational compliance.
• Ensure smooth, efficient, and professional motel operations.

Requirements for Success

• Previous experience in motel or accommodation management.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• A hands-on and proactive approach to operations.
• Proficiency with Property Management Systems; GuestPoint experience is highly regarded.
• Understanding of OTA and channel management systems.
• Ability to reside onsite and work weekends and public holidays as needed.
• Current Australian Business Number (ABN).
• National Police Check, or a willingness to obtain one.

This role offers a genuine long-term motel management opportunity within a manageable and well-supported property.

Salary: $110,000–$115,000 per annum plus Superannuation. Benefits: 8 weeks leave, accommodation, and utilities provided.
