Multiple Hospitality Roles Available | New Retail Food Offering | St Leonards
Gema Group Holdings PL is seeking individuals for casual ongoing hospitality roles at a brand new retail food offering located at Royal North Shore Hospital in St Leonards.

Our team combines family values, dedication, and industry expertise to deliver food and customer service. Our hospital retail catering team extends this care to cafés, kiosks, and food outlets serving staff, patients, and visitors seven days a week.
These roles will commence shortly.
Roles Available:
- Outlet Supervisors - Experienced. Full-time opportunities may be available for the right candidate. Responsibilities include day-to-day floor management, opening and closing procedures, shift leadership, cash-up, and maintaining team standards.
- Baristas - Experienced. Full-time opportunities may be available for the right candidate. Requires confidence with coffee machines, speed, and customer interaction. Consistency in preparing coffee is important.
- Cashiers - Front-of-house operators on POS and EFTPOS. Requires a friendly, accurate, and unflappable demeanour, particularly during busy periods.
- Servers - Responsibilities include plating, serving, restocking, and resetting. These individuals help keep the floor operational and displays well-maintained.
- Kitchenhands - Essential kitchen support roles involving prep, dishwashing, managing deliveries, and cleaning to facilitate the chefs.
- Cooks - Production of breakfast, lunch, and grab-and-go items. Requires clean, quick, and consistent work in a busy retail kitchen environment.
- Chefs - Qualified and Food Safety Certified. Full-time opportunities may be available for the right candidate. Responsibilities include leading sections, menu ownership, and mentoring. We are looking for chefs who pay attention to detail.
The Shifts:
- Days: Seven days a week, Monday through Sunday. Rosters will be published in advance and shared.
- Hours: Early starts from approximately 6 am, with ample hours available for suitable candidates.
What You'll Bring:
- Must provide or complete a National Police Clearance conducted within the last 12 months.
- Depending on the role, a Working with Children Check and proof of immunisation against infectious diseases may be required.
- A warm, professional manner when interacting with customers and colleagues.
- Reliability, including punctuality and readiness to work.
- Pride in detail, such as maintaining a clean station, tidy displays, and well-prepared items.
- The right to work in Australia and any relevant food safety or RSA certificates for your specific role.
