ALH is seeking a Publican for the Oxley Tavern. This role is for an individual who is passionate about hospitality, leads proactively, and fosters community by delivering enjoyable pub experiences. Experienced Assistant Managers considering their first Venue Manager role may also be well-suited.

In the context of pubs, a Publican is a leader who cultivates relationships, transforming new patrons into regulars. The Oxley Tavern, situated southwest of Brisbane on Blunder Road, Oxley, is recognised for its quality food and welcoming service, appealing to both local residents and visitors.

A Day in the Life of a Publican:

• Building rapport with local patrons while maintaining a keen focus on financial performance.
• Managing the venue with a sense of ownership, ensuring a safe, efficient, and compliant operation.
• Serving as a community anchor and motivating a high-performing team.
• Proactively addressing issues before they become apparent.
• Consistently delivering a positive atmosphere, service, and guest experience.

Inherent Requirements:

This is a practical role that includes manual handling and lifting as part of daily duties, such as managing stock, kegs, and deliveries. Applicants must possess the capability to perform physical tasks safely and effectively.

About You:

You will possess the requisite experience, presence, and commitment to manage a pub as if it were your own. This role involves embodying the Publican lifestyle beyond simply managing a venue.

• Hold current industry RSA and RSG/RCG qualifications as mandated by state regulations.
