ALH is seeking a Publican for the Peninsula Tavern in Maylands. This role involves leadership within a hospitality environment, aiming to foster community connections and create enjoyable pub experiences.

The Peninsula Tavern, situated on Railway Parade, serves as a local gathering spot for drinks, watching sports, and celebrating events.

A Day in the Life of a Publican:

• Build rapport with patrons, recognising locals while managing financial performance (P&L).
• Oversee venue operations to ensure safety, efficiency, and compliance.
• Act as a community figurehead and lead a high-performing team.
• Proactively address operational challenges.
• Deliver consistent positive atmosphere, service, and customer engagement.

Inherent Requirements:

• This is a hands-on role requiring manual handling and lifting for duties such as moving stock, kegs, and deliveries. Applicants must be capable of performing physical tasks safely and efficiently.

• You possess the experience, presence, and dedication required to manage a pub as if it were your own.
• You are committed to the Publican lifestyle beyond just managing a venue.
• You hold current industry Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) and Responsible Gambling Services (RSG/RCG) qualifications as mandated by state requirements.
