The Sheraton Grand Mirage Resort, Gold Coast is situated amongst tropical gardens and lagoons, offering over 295 guest rooms and suites, award-winning dining, and 14 conference and meeting spaces, all on the beachfront.

We are seeking an experienced Part Time Reservations Agent to join our Reservations team, working 2-3 shifts per week. This role prioritises handling all incoming reservations to maximise sales of rooms and facilities. The Reservations Agent may also assist with Group Reservations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Answer incoming calls from the general public.
• Support Marriott Bonvoy loyalty members with enquiries and membership information.
• Deliver exceptional service to guests, meeting requests and exceeding expectations.
• Promote hotel facilities and convert enquiries into bookings.
• Ensure booking details are complete and accurate.
• Follow up on reservation details and enter them into the property management system.
• Liaise with travel agents to confirm booking details.
• Check daily arrivals and confirm details for a smooth guest stay.
• Follow up on methods of payment with guests.

What we are looking for:

• Previous Reservations experience in a Hotel Reservations or Front Office environment.
• A passion for client and guest engagement and developing strong relationships built on trust and confidence.
• Professional communication and genuine interpersonal skills.
• A great eye for detail to ensure all data is entered correctly.
• Effective time management in a fast-paced environment.
• A team player.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs, particularly Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Previous experience with Opera PMS or a similar reservations system is desirable.
• Flexibility to work on a 7-day rotational roster.
