Reservations Manager Novotel Sydney Darling Square Sydney NSW Full-time, Onsite

Conveniently situated amidst Sydney’s CBD, Darling Harbour, Darling Square, and ICC precincts, Novotel Sydney Darling Square is seeking a Reservations Manager to join our team. Reporting to the Director of Sales and Marketing, this role involves overseeing and managing the daily operations of the Reservations team. The objective is to establish high standards for guest experience, ensuring memorable interactions from the initial contact.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, coach, and develop the Reservations team to deliver exceptional service and meet performance targets.
  • Oversee the daily operations of the Reservations department, ensuring all inquiries and bookings are handled accurately and efficiently.
  • Identify and generate opportunities for revenue enhancement, working towards key financial objectives.
  • Maintain the accuracy and currency of all reservations within the PMS system.
  • Address and resolve guest concerns and booking issues promptly and professionally.

What We Are Looking For:

  • A natural leader who enjoys developing team members and takes pride in operational involvement when required.
  • Previous experience and knowledge of Opera Cloud.
  • A keen eye for detail, with an enjoyment for creating and maintaining agreed standards and processes.
  • Good time management skills and confident verbal and written communication abilities.
  • The ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment and effectively manage complex, competing priorities.
  • A passion for exceptional guest experiences and a commitment to delivering high levels of customer service.
  • Ideally, previous experience as a Reservations Manager or Supervisor with sound leadership skills, seeking a next career step.
