Restaurant Hiring

Signature Catering & Co Pty Ltd is seeking casual staff for a busy, fast-paced restaurant located in the St Marys area. We are looking for individuals to fill the roles of Storeman, Line Cook, Kitchen Hand, and Front of House (FOH) staff to join our dedicated and professional hospitality team.

Storeman Responsibilities:

• Unload incoming deliveries, inspect goods for damage, and cross-check items against invoices and packing slips.
• Assist with routine stocktakes and audits to prevent shortages and resolve discrepancies.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area.

Line Cook Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation and cooking of meals according to the menu.
• Ensure high standards of food quality and presentation.
• Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Support other kitchen staff in daily tasks.
• Maintain a clean and organised work environment.
• Assist in menu planning and development.
• Communicate effectively with kitchen team members and management.

As a Line Cook, you will be assisting other Chefs and the Head Chef to ensure the highest standards are achieved in menu planning, culinary dishes, dish preparation and presentation, cooking of meals, executing a high-quality product, and kitchen hygiene.

Line Cook Qualifications/Experience:

• Previous experience as a Line Cook or in a similar role within a busy kitchen environment.
• A passion for food and culinary creativity.
• Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• A positive attitude and strong work ethic.

Kitchen Hand/Dish Washing Responsibilities:

• Work at the club's busy bistro.
• Assist with preparing and cooking Western/Asian dishes.

Front of House (FOH) Responsibilities:

• Be the public face of the hospitality venue.
• Create a welcoming atmosphere.
• Provide exceptional customer service.
• Manage guest experiences from arrival to departure.
• Greet guests, take orders, serve food/drinks, manage reservations, and maintain clean, safe dining areas.

FOH Qualifications/Experience:

• 1-2 years of relevant work experience.
• Excellent presentation and exceptional communication skills.
