Human Solutions Group is seeking a full-time, onsite Restaurant Manager for their Melbourne VIC location.

This award-winning Asian restaurant is recognised for its exceptional cuisine, impeccable service, and vibrant atmosphere, making it one of the city's most sought-after dining experiences. Situated in the heart of Melbourne's CBD, the venue is dedicated to delivering unforgettable guest experiences through genuine hospitality, attention to detail, and operational excellence. They are looking for an exceptional Restaurant Manager who shares their commitment to excellence and is prepared to lead a high-performing team in one of Melbourne's busiest premium venues.

About the Role: As Restaurant Manager, you will be the driving force behind the daily operations of this iconic venue. Working closely with senior leadership, you will inspire your team to deliver world-class service while maintaining the highest standards across every aspect of the business. This is a hands-on leadership position suited to someone who thrives in fast-paced, premium dining environments and enjoys being present on the restaurant floor, leading by example.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and inspire a large front-of-house team to deliver exceptional guest experiences every service.
  • Create a positive, high-performance culture built around teamwork, accountability, and hospitality excellence.
  • Recruit, mentor, and develop supervisors and service staff.
  • Oversee daily restaurant operations, ensuring seamless execution during high-volume lunch and dinner services.
  • Drive financial performance through labour management, wage control, and revenue optimisation.
  • Monitor service standards and continuously seek opportunities to enhance the guest experience.
  • Work collaboratively with the Executive Chef and kitchen leadership to ensure smooth communication between front and back of house.
  • Manage rostering, stock control, compliance, and operational reporting.
  • Maintain exceptional standards of presentation, cleanliness, and workplace safety.

About You: You are an experienced hospitality professional who understands what it takes to operate at the highest level. You will bring:

  • Previous experience as a Restaurant Manager or Senior Assistant Manager in a premium, high-volume restaurant.
  • A genuine passion for hospitality and creating memorable dining experiences.
  • Outstanding leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop high-performing teams.
  • Exceptional knowledge of premium food and beverage service.
  • Strong commercial acumen with experience managing labour costs, budgets, and key performance indicators.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • The ability to remain calm and decisive in a busy service environment.
  • A hands-on management style with a visible presence on the restaurant floor.
  • Availability to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays.

Experience within premium Asian restaurants, luxury hotels, or award-winning dining venues will be highly regarded.
