BabyMama is a 50-seat, high-energy venue located at Nobby Beach. This is a practical leadership position focused on owning the guest experience, fostering authentic connections with your team, and establishing the atmosphere for each service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Service Leadership:
• Oversee Front of House (FOH) operations during service, managing floor flow, communication, and pace.
• Make prompt, thoughtful decisions and manage guest experiences with composure.
• Upsell with confidence and guide the team in doing so.
• Maintain professionalism, presentation standards, and a guest-first approach.
• Team Development:
• Coach and develop the FOH team, leading by example rather than solely through instruction.
• Support onboarding and on-shift training, reinforcing service standards and menu knowledge.
• Deliver clear pre-shift briefings and maintain direction throughout service.
• Build genuine relationships with the kitchen team and contribute to a strong team culture.
• Operations:
• Collaborate with management on rostering and operational planning.
• Manage consumables, staff breaks, task allocation, and FOH presentation.
• Perform POS duties, including opening, closing, and cash handling.
• Uphold Workplace Health & Safety (WH&S), food safety, allergen, and incident procedures.

What We Are Looking For:

• An understanding of how a smaller, fast-paced venue operates and a genuine commitment to building a team.
• Operational sharpness, a people-focused approach, and energy for every shift.
• Minimum of 1 to 2 years’ experience in a Supervisor or senior FOH role.
• Experience in high-energy, casual, or dynamic hospitality environments is preferred.
• Ability to work autonomously and unsupervised, following established processes.
• Confident communication skills to read and lead a team through a full service.
• An instinct for building team culture and developing individuals.
• Ability to upsell naturally and coach others to do the same.
• A professional, energetic, and genuinely guest-focused demeanor.
• Availability across evenings and weekends is essential.
