Catering HQ, a family-run company established in 1996 with 20 venues across Sydney and Melbourne, is seeking a proactive and dynamic Restaurant Supervisor to join our dedicated team at Camden Golf Club. We are committed to striving for excellence, adapting to market trends to offer fresh, interesting, and inviting menus and décor, and are known for high-quality meals and exceptional customer service.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Communicate with colleagues and management to resolve issues and enhance quality and service.
• Assist in opening and/or closing the catering department according to company checklist guidelines.
• Initiate conversations and build rapport with customers by learning their names, preferred drinks, and food items.
• Understand and anticipate customer needs, aiming to exceed expectations.
• Train new employees and provide motivation in their roles.
• Contribute to achieving business goals and objectives set by management.

Key Qualities:

• A minimum of 1-2 years’ experience in a similar role is required.
• Excellent supportive and leadership skills.
• Exposure to rostering and people development.
• A strong customer service focus.
• Professional, upbeat, and friendly personality.
• Exceptional attention to detail.
• Positive and flexible attitude.
• Highest level of presentation and grooming standards.
• Fantastic people management skills and a professional nature.
• Confidence to take charge and own outcomes, with humility to listen and learn.
