Ocean Rafting, a multi-award-winning, family-owned and operated business since 1997, has an opening for a Sales and Reservations Supervisor at its Airlie Beach location in the Whitsundays.

Ocean Rafting offers unique experiences to the uninhabited islands of the Whitsundays, known for their natural beauty and abundant wildlife. Each tour provides a comprehensive experience, including an exhilarating journey to Whitehaven Beach and Hill Inlet, pristine snorkelling at protected reefs, and guided walks through Whitsunday Island National Parks. Special permits allow access to protected areas within the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park and Whitehaven Beach/Hill Inlet. Tours depart daily from Coral Sea Marina North Village, Daydream Island, and Hamilton Island.

Responsibilities and Requirements:

• This is a full-time role requiring 40 hours per week, with operations running 7 days a week from 6 am to 7 pm.
• Flexibility in working hours is necessary, with the ability to work weekends, school holidays, and public holidays.
• A full driver’s license is required.
• Previous experience in a reservations role is necessary.
• Customer service experience is ESSENTIAL.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills are required.
• The ability to work under pressure is essential, managing the coordination of 8 vessels and 10 aircraft daily.
• High-level computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office, are necessary.
