A Subway Sandwich Artist is the face of our restaurants. Responsibilities include preparing and serving sandwiches, greeting guests, and delivering exceptional customer service, aiming to be the reason customers return.

Job Introduction

Previous experience in food preparation, retail sales, or customer service is desirable but not essential. Full training will be provided, including various University of Subway courses. A positive attitude is most important. This role is suitable for individuals currently in retail or restaurant work, students, or recent graduates seeking a career in the food industry.

Main Responsibilities

• Food preparation, including baking bread and cookies.
• Ensuring food storage and preparation areas meet Health & Safety and Audit standards.
• Compliance with the Food Code of Practice.
• Operating the till.
• Monitoring stock levels.
• Checking in deliveries.
• Completing daily and weekly cleaning schedules.
• Adhering to security and safety procedures.
• Maintaining a safe working environment for employees and customers.
• Maintaining high personal presentation in the provided uniform to meet Subway brand and customer expectations.
• Working as a team member.
• Delivering a high standard of service in product handling, sales, and meeting customer needs.
