The Subway® brand, with over 40,000 restaurants globally, is seeking motivated and driven team members for its locations in Deloraine due to continued regional growth. Franchise Owners are recruiting for the role of Sandwich Artist™.

As the face of the restaurant, a Subway® Sandwich Artist™ prepares and serves sandwiches, greets customers, and provides customer service. The aim is to ensure customers return.

Previous experience in food preparation, retail sales, or customer service is desirable, though not essential, as full training and University of Subway® courses will be provided. A positive attitude is considered more important. This opportunity may suit individuals currently in retail or restaurant roles, or those studying or recently graduated seeking a career in the food industry.

Main Responsibilities:

• Food preparation, including baking bread and cookies.
• Maintaining food storage and preparation areas to Health & Safety and Audit standards.
• Adhering to the Food Code of Practice.
• Operating the till.
• Monitoring stock levels.
• Checking in deliveries.
• Completing daily and weekly cleaning schedules.
• Following security and safety procedures.
• Ensuring a safe working environment for employees and customers.
• Maintaining high personal presentation in the provided uniform to meet Subway® brand and customer expectations.
• Collaborating as a team member.
• Delivering a high standard of service in relation to products, sales, and customer needs.

A Sandwich Artist™ will serve and add value to customer needs efficiently and in a friendly manner. This role involves promoting Subway® brand awareness and ensuring hygiene standards are met. Working as a Sandwich Artist™ in a Subway® franchise is a challenging yet rewarding role.
