This permanent, full-time position as Senior Operations Manager offers a genuine opportunity to make a difference within the Aged Care and Education sectors. Success in these areas requires a dedication to excellent food and service, alongside regular travel to sites across Queensland's distinctive locations. As a Senior Operations Manager with Cater Care, you will contribute to supporting vulnerable Australians daily, benefiting from job security and collaboration with a dedicated team.

We are looking for an experienced Manager to direct and oversee the efficient operation of our catering services across multiple sites. Key responsibilities include upholding superior service standards, team leadership, nurturing client relationships, and ensuring adherence to industry regulations, all while fostering operational efficiency and expansion.

A typical day as a Senior Operations Manager at Cater Care involves:

• Supervising the Operations team across various Aged Care and Education sites.
• Supporting the operational team in delivering high-quality events and functions.
• Cultivating and maintaining strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and key stakeholders.
• Ensuring compliance with the food safety program.
• Effectively managing budgets and resources to optimise operational expenditures.
• Maintaining high levels of compliance within health and safety frameworks and food safety legislation.
• Leading diverse teams to achieve peak performance.
• Opportunities for travel within Queensland.

What you need to bring to Cater Care:

• Demonstrated experience in managing multi-site catering, hospitality, or corporate food service operations.
• A Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or an equivalent recognised culinary qualification.
• Strong commercial acumen with a proven history of managing multi-site operational budgets.
• Exceptional relationship management capabilities, with the ability to engage with varied stakeholder groups.
• A current Police Check and the ability to obtain a Working with Children Blue Card.
