O’Reilly’s Rainforest Retreat is seeking an organised hospitality professional with experience in hotel reservations and group bookings for a Senior Reservations Assistant role. This position is based at our Head Office in Nerang, Gold Coast.

The successful candidate will contribute significantly to our reservations operations, ensuring exceptional service for every guest journey and supporting occupancy, revenue, and business objectives.

About Us O'Reilly's Rainforest Retreat, situated in Lamington National Park, is a distinguished eco-tourism destination with over 100 years of family ownership and operation. Our commitment is to delivering outstanding guest experiences through genuine hospitality and a profound connection to nature. This role supports the Reservations and Sales team from our Nerang Head Office, contributing to the creation of exceptional guest experiences.

About the Role Your responsibilities will include:

• Managing enquiries and accommodation reservations via phone, email, online channels, and travel partners.
• Coordinating Leisure Group and Day Tour bookings from initial enquiry through to guest arrival.
• Monitoring room inventory, rates, and availability to support revenue strategies.
• Cultivating strong relationships with travel agents and tour operators.
• Providing exceptional customer service and identifying opportunities for upselling.
• Assisting other departments to ensure a seamless guest experience.

About You To be considered for this role, you will possess:

• Previous experience in hotel reservations, front office, or a comparable position.
• Experience in coordinating leisure groups is preferred.
• A strong understanding of Property Management Systems (PMS) and hotel reservation systems.
• Experience using NewBook PMS is highly desirable.
• Excellent communication, organisational, and time management skills.
• High attention to detail and the capacity to manage multiple priorities.
• A proactive, team-focused approach and a dedication to delivering outstanding guest experiences.

Your salary will be commensurate with experience and includes superannuation.
