Sommelier

From2000 is seeking an experienced Sommelier to join their team. The successful applicant will be part of the group that includes Pellegrino2000, Clam Bar, Neptune's Grotto, and Grandfathers.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver a world-class experience each service.
• Work with a fantastic menu and exciting and rare wines.

Requirements:

• A strong understanding of Old and New World wine.
• Exceptional customer service.
• The ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
• Experience in a similar fine dining role.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Able to turn tables comfortably within a 2-hour timeframe.
• RSA (Required).
• Minimum WSET 3.
• Work Authorisation: Australia (Required).

A passion for restaurants, food, wine, and hospitality is non-negotiable, though training will be provided for the right candidate.

Compensation and Hours:

• Salary: $33.38 – $50 per hour.
• Work Type: Full-time.
• Expected hours: 35-40 per week.
• Schedule: Includes 12-hour shifts, 8-hour shifts, day shifts, evening shifts, Monday to Saturday, rotating roster, and weekend availability.
• Supplementary Pay: Overtime pay, penalty rates, and tips.
