Flower Hotels is seeking a Venue Manager for the Lake Cathie Tavern. The tavern serves as a central point for the local community, accommodating dining, drinking, social gatherings, family celebrations, sporting club connections, and visitor experiences with country hospitality.

The Opportunity As Venue Manager, you will be responsible for leading a recognised community venue. This involves inspiring the team, enhancing guest experiences, and driving operational excellence to ensure the tavern's continued success as a community hub. You will have the autonomy to lead, support to succeed, and the chance to influence a venue with significant potential.

Who You Are You are an experienced hospitality leader who understands the link between people and performance. You can build trust, establish accountability, and motivate teams to achieve collective success. You possess commercial acumen alongside a passion for hospitality, and are comfortable analysing financial data as well as supporting your team during busy periods.

You will bring:

• Proven experience managing a successful hospitality venue.
• A leadership approach characterised by professionalism, effective communication, and accountability.
• Strong financial understanding, including experience in revenue generation and management of budgets, labour costs, wages, and profitability.
• A demonstrated ability to improve team performance and guest satisfaction.
• Comprehensive operational knowledge across food, beverage, gaming, and compliance.
• Confidence in decision-making and taking responsibility for outcomes.
• Current NSW RSA and RCG Competency Cards.
• An Approved Manager Licence, or a willingness to obtain one.
