TRILITY Pty Ltd is seeking two Senior Process Engineers to join a high-performing engineering team. This role is based on-site in our workshop in Yatala, QLD.

The Role This position will involve applying your process engineering expertise alongside project experience within TRILITY’s multi-disciplinary engineering team. This team operates across Australia and New Zealand, embracing a location-independent principle with remote collaboration systems to facilitate project delivery nationwide.

This is an office-based role with some travel as required and periodic flexibility for working from home. A full-time remote working arrangement is not applicable.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage designs for small to medium-sized projects, typically valued between $50,000 and $5 million.
• Direct design teams allocated to projects, including internal engineers, drafters, subcontractors, consultants, and equipment vendors.
• Liaise with design/engineering subcontractors, consultants, and equipment vendors to monitor progress, provide direction, and review/integrate deliverables.
• Perform technical reviews of engineering documentation and deliverables prepared by team members.
• Collaborate closely with Project Managers and client staff to facilitate design review processes and resolve resulting issues.
• Provide technical support to workshop technicians during fabrication, testing, and commissioning phases of projects.
• Assist in the preparation of bills of materials and equipment procurement.
• Support plant testing and commissioning, including conducting investigations into process and operational performance.
• Assist the Engineering Leader and other Senior Engineers with overall engineering team coordination, taking responsibility for specific improvement initiatives and potentially acting as Engineering Leader during periods of absence.
• Comply with quality assurance systems.
• Comply with Work Health and Safety Regulations.
• Undertake reasonable travel to support projects.
• Perform other duties as directed.

What We Are Looking For

• A minimum of 8 years of experience in a similar role, with process engineering qualifications.
• Strong multi-disciplinary experience, including an excellent working knowledge of civil, structural, and electrical disciplines and the integration of project deliverables.
• Experience in engineering design and design management, including the preparation and coordination of engineering deliverables.
• A keen interest in working within the water industry.
• Certification as an RPEQ, CPEng, and NER, or the ability to attain these certifications within 3 months of commencing employment.
• An interest, now or in the future, in leading others both technically and as a manager.
• Ability to understand and interpret data.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to write reports and communicate technical information to all levels.
• Ability to work autonomously.
• Analytical ability and problem-solving skills.
• An appropriate level of confidence with a sense of contribution, drive, and initiative.
• A valid driver’s license and a willingness to travel and conduct field work.
