- Maintaining, structuring, and optimising the CAD drawing database, including managing revisions, updates, and corrections.
- Preparing fabrication-ready drawing packs for seamless production.
- Assisting with part procurement and collaborating with key suppliers.
This role is designed for an experienced professional who can integrate pure engineering design with practical, hands-on application. Candidates are likely to be Mechanical Engineers with extensive workshop experience or experienced Mechanical Tradespeople with advanced design and modelling knowledge.
Requirements:
- Expert-level 3D CAD modelling capability (non-negotiable).
- A Mechanical Engineering qualification OR a Mechanical Trade background.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience delivering high-end mechanical/machinery design.
Key attributes:
- Dedicated and reliable, taking pride in engineering output and machinery performance.
- Possesses obsessive attention to detail, identifying subtle tolerances and design errors.
- Agile and responsive, comfortable with rapid changes in an R&D environment.
- A personable and collaborative individual ready to integrate into a tight-knit team.
This full-time, onsite position is located in Adelaide SA, with a salary of $110k - $130k p.a. plus Super and Bonus.
