Our Sydney office seeks a motivated Accountant to join our international team in a significant capacity.

Reporting to management, this role is vital for upholding our financial accuracy and supporting our expanding asset portfolio. Key responsibilities include:

• Maintaining fixed asset registers.
• Managing accounts payable and receivable.
• Preparing monthly management accounts and quarterly bank reports.
• Preparing GST and income tax returns.
• Preparing year-end statutory reports and assisting with year-end audit requirements.
• Assisting with budgeting and forecasting.
• Providing ad-hoc support and other duties as directed by management.

This position requires attendance at our Sydney CBD office five days per week. The company prioritises strong team collaboration and immediate communication, therefore, this role does not accommodate hybrid or remote working arrangements.

To succeed in this role, you will be a process-oriented professional with a strong focus on deadlines and meticulous attention to detail.

Essential qualifications and experience include:

• A bachelor’s degree in accountancy, finance, or a business-related field.
• A minimum of 2 years of accounting experience. Experience within the hospitality industry is highly regarded.
• A professional accounting qualification such as CA or CPA (fully qualified or currently undertaking).
• Advanced computer software skills, with exceptional proficiency in Excel and other financial reporting/analysis tools.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective collaboration with local and international teams.
