An opportunity is available for an accomplished Chief Financial Officer to join a highly respected, purpose-led organisation at a pivotal stage of its journey.

This is a critical role in owning and leading the finance function. Partnering closely with the Board and Executive Leadership Team, you will provide strategic financial leadership, shape organisational direction and ensure the long-term financial sustainability of a complex, values-driven organisation.

As a trusted adviser, you will lead the organisation's financial strategy, planning, reporting, governance and risk functions while driving commercial performance and enabling informed decision-making across the business. You will also oversee treasury, investments, statutory reporting, payroll and financial operations, ensuring the highest standards of governance, compliance and financial stewardship.

Beyond technical excellence, this role requires an authentic and influential finance leader with a strong executive presence and a collaborative, hands-on approach. Equally comfortable shaping strategy and rolling up your sleeves, you thrive in environments where you can add value, challenge conventional thinking and drive continuous improvement.

Profile

• Proven executive finance leadership experience in a complex organisation, ideally in the NFP space.
• Strong strategic, commercial and financial acumen, with the ability to influence at Board and Executive level.
• Deep expertise across financial strategy, governance, reporting, risk, treasury and organisational planning.
• A collaborative leadership style with a track record of building high-performing teams and partnering across the organisation.
• CA or CPA qualifications, with experience engaging Boards, Committees and external stakeholders.
