Hays | Accountancy & Finance is seeking a Senior Finance Manager for a permanent, full-time, onsite role in Macquarie Park. The remuneration is $203,000.0 - $208,000.0 per annum plus a package.

This is a significant opportunity to join a large, intricate, and high-profile organisation responsible for delivering essential infrastructure and services throughout NSW. Within Finance Partnering and Insights, you will assume a key leadership position. You will function as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders, while actively driving financial performance, strategy, and decision-making processes.

Your New Role

Reporting to senior finance leadership, you will guide a high-achieving team. You will collaborate closely with executive stakeholders to deliver high-quality financial insights and achieve commercial objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting for a substantial and complex portfolio.
• Provide strategic financial counsel, connecting performance outcomes with business strategy.
• Deliver insightful analysis to pinpoint risks, opportunities, and avenues for efficiency enhancement.
• Foster engagement with divisional leaders to elevate financial performance and sustainability.
• Support the development of business cases and investment decision-making.
• Ensure rigorous financial governance, reporting, and adherence to relevant frameworks.
• Cultivate strong relationships with senior stakeholders to influence decision-making.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a team to produce high-quality financial outputs.

What You'll Need to Succeed:

• Extensive experience in financial management within a large and complex setting.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing capabilities at the executive level.
• Demonstrated ability to translate complex data into meaningful insights.
• Experience leading and developing finance teams.
• Tertiary qualification in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline.
• CA, CPA, or equivalent professional membership.
