A global infrastructure business is seeking an experienced Accountant for a newly created, broad role encompassing investor reporting, fund accounting, and financial accounting. This Sydney CBD-based position offers a salary of $95K - $105K, plus superannuation, bonus, and study support.

Company Background Our client is a successful and growing global infrastructure business with a history of high-profile, large-scale projects. They are currently expanding internationally and require an experienced Accountant to join their team. Once training is complete, there is an opportunity to work from home two days per week. You will be part of a large finance team comprising highly talented and intelligent peers.

The Role This newly created Accountant position sits within the corporate finance team. Your responsibilities will include managing the fund’s financial and performance reporting. Specific duties include:

• Accounting and financial reporting for the fund.
• Monthly, quarterly, and yearly reporting.
• Budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Investor reporting.
• Managing some AP and AR duties for the fund.
• Regulatory compliance.

Your Background To be considered for this role, you will possess:

• 3+ years of working experience in an Accountant role.
• Experience and exposure to fund accounting.
• An Accounting/Finance Degree with good academic grades.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A positive attitude to learn and adapt.
• Permanent working rights (Permanent residency or Australian Citizenship).
