BMC Accounting is a busy CPA practice operating from two offices. We are seeking a self-motivated, high-achieving individual to join our team at our Mandurah location. We provide comprehensive services to a diverse client base, assisting both large and small entities with taxation, finance, risk management, and wealth creation. Clients of our CPA practice can anticipate professional work of high quality.

The Applicant

A minimum of four years of experience in public practice is required, specifically in preparing income tax, full sets of accounts, and providing advisory services. Experience with Self-Managed Super Funds (SMSFs) would be advantageous but is not essential.

You must demonstrate initiative, a willingness to collaborate, innovative thinking, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Proficiency in using ledger and tax programs is necessary. Crucially, you must be confident in all areas of business and in providing advice.

Salary will be commensurate with experience, skills, and performance.

The Work

Responsibilities include assisting with business start-ups, providing business advice, preparing annual tax returns, BAS statements, and monthly financial statements.

Our firm utilises Xero XPM and the full suite of Handisoft programs, along with BGL 360 for superannuation. Our clients commonly use MYOB and Xero for their accounting needs. Proficiency in Word and Excel is integral to these software platforms.
