About the Role We are seeking an aspirational Manager to join our expanding public practice team, working alongside other entrepreneurial and commercially astute professionals. This permanent, full-time position is crucial to BlueRock's growth and success, offering the opportunity to partner with highly entrepreneurial business owners.

What you'll be doing Your day-to-day responsibilities as a Manager will include:
- Coaching and developing emerging talent through hands-on mentoring and regular feedback, supporting their advancement in technical and client skills.
- Contributing to a high-performing team by further developing and expanding a client base that generates ongoing projects and consulting opportunities for you and the team.
- Driving practice delivery for compliance and advisory engagements, including cash-flow forecasting, business acquisitions/sales, and specialist tax work, while managing risk and applying practical tax planning.
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships, including conducting regular client meetings.
- Collaborating with the Accounting supervisor and manager group and contributing to the program.
- Proactively identifying opportunities to provide added value or additional products and services to clients, and collaborating with other BlueRock divisions on such engagements.
Requirements We are looking for individuals with:
- 7+ years of experience in public practice accounting.
- Strong technical proficiency in tax and consulting/modelling engagements, encompassing budgeting, cash-flow forecasting, and evaluations.
- Excellent Microsoft Excel skills and strong Xero experience.
- Experience mentoring and coaching junior and graduate accountants.
- Excellent knowledge of taxation legislation.
