Accounting Operations Manager

Mars Recruitment is seeking an Accounting Operations Manager for a full-time, onsite role in Richmond. The remuneration for this position is between $160k - $180k per annum.

Join a significant global enterprise during a period of substantial transformation following a major acquisition. The finance function is being established anew, involving new systems, legal entities, and reporting structures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the relationship with the outsourced service provider, encompassing the establishment and monitoring of Service Level Agreements (SLAs), resolution of escalations, and driving quality within the co-sourced model.
• Oversee month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Take ownership of the general ledger.
• Ensure adherence to accounting standards.
• Collaborate directly with internal and external auditors.
• Provide technical leadership in consolidation and reporting.
• Manage a team of two individuals.

Required Qualifications and Experience:

• CA or CPA qualification.
• 8-10 years of experience in financial accounting, with robust knowledge of IFRS.
• Demonstrated experience managing outsourced or co-sourced finance functions, including oversight of SLAs and issue resolution.
• Confident stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage across finance, third-party partners, and the broader business.
• Experience within a multinational, multi-entity environment.
