Accounts and Administration Assistant KG Talent is seeking an enthusiastic and detail-focused Accounts and Administration Assistant to join the centralised Finance team at Coil Steel NSW, supporting operations nationally.
Coil Steel NSW, located in Erskine Park, is a leading independent steel sheet and coil distribution business. The company prioritises strong customer service, operational reliability, and a supportive, team-focused environment.
Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, this full-time, onsite role combines office administration with accounts payable and accounts receivable support. It offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment and contribute to a well-run finance function.
About the Role This position involves providing essential administrative and financial support to ensure smooth day-to-day operations. You will act as a key point of contact for internal teams and customers, maintaining accurate records, supporting transactions, and ensuring timely follow-up of accounts. The role is suited for an organised, proactive individual comfortable juggling a variety of tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Order and manage office supplies to support smooth operations.
- Answer incoming calls and respond to email enquiries professionally.
- Provide general administrative support to management and wider teams.
- Follow up outstanding customer accounts and support collections.
- Maintain accurate customer records within the ERP system.
- Process credit card payments for cash sales.
- Release sales orders in line with company procedures.
- Assist with accounts payable payment runs and supporting documentation.
- Support both accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.
- Maintain accurate financial and administrative records.
- Contribute to process improvements within the finance team.
- Provide general office support as required.
About You
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Good computer skills including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Experience with Pronto or similar ERP systems is an advantage.
- High attention to detail with strong accuracy.
- Strong time management and ability to prioritise tasks.
- Positive, team-focused attitude.
- Ability to work independently once trained.
- Full Australian working rights.
- Available to work 9:30 AM – 5:30 PM.
