Accounts Assistant – Command51 – Port Macquarie

Command51 is seeking a motivated and detail-driven Accounts Assistant to join its dynamic Finance team in Port Macquarie. This full-time, onsite position is integral to supporting Command51's financial operations, specifically by assisting with accounts receivable and accounts payable functions.

Responsibilities:

• Review and process supplier invoices for accuracy and completeness.
• Ensure timely payments to vendors.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounts payable records.
• Assist with other accounting tasks as required, including bank reconciliations and data entry.
• Liaise with suppliers and internal departments to resolve discrepancies.
• Set up new clients in MYOB and manage invoicing.
• Resolve existing client queries.
• Process contract variations for clients.
• Support the team with various administrative tasks.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in a similar role.
• Qualification in finance, accounting, or commerce.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with strong working knowledge of Excel.
• Hands-on experience with MYOB is essential.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to build good relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Ability to follow company processes and procedures.
• Willingness to learn and develop.
• Full, unrestricted Australian work rights are mandatory.
