Konami Australia is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Accounts Assistant to join its Finance team. This role presents a significant opportunity for a recent graduate or early-career professional to gain practical experience within a dynamic, high-performing setting.

You will be instrumental in supporting all aspects of the Accounts department, collaborating closely with Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and senior finance personnel.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide daily support across the Accounts function, encompassing Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and general finance.
• Process invoices and contribute to data entry within accounting systems.
• Undertake account reconciliations and maintain precise financial records.
• Assist with bookkeeping activities and general financial administration.
• Support the preparation of financial documentation and reporting.
• Aid in internal and external audit processes.
• Maintain organised filing systems and provide general administrative assistance.
• Contribute to month-end tasks and reporting activities.
• Ensure the confidentiality of all financial and company information.
• Support the team with ad-hoc finance and administrative duties as required.

About You:

We are seeking an individual who is eager to learn, dependable, and excels in a busy setting.

You will possess:

• A tertiary qualification in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Degree or Diploma).
• Approximately 1 year of hands-on experience in a similar role or internship.
• Experience utilising accounting systems (any ERP/accounting software).
• Practical experience with:
• Invoice processing
• Account reconciliations
• Bookkeeping tasks
• Strong Microsoft Office skills, with a particular emphasis on Excel.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong organisational and time management skills.
• The ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
• A positive attitude and a willingness to learn.
• The capacity to perform effectively in a fast-paced environment.
